Join us for a train ride in the historic Danbury railyard!
As a living history museum, we offer tours of our ten-acre railyard from the comfort of a seat in one of our vintage coaches, historic cabooses, or even the cab of the locomotive! Train rides are about 30-35 minutes and include a layover stop at our historic turntable and pumphouse facility.
Departures
Trains operate on Saturdays and Sundays from April through September ONLY. During October, we operate our Pumpkin Patch Trains, and in December we run our Santa Trains.

Tickets & Pricing
Tickets for our regular train rides are only available at the front desk, and cab ride availability is only determined day-of.
All ticket prices listed below are in addition to Museum admission.
Locomotive Cab Ride - $10.00 per person
(1 to 3 riders per trip, availability is dependent on equipment & personnel - click here for more info)Coach Seating - $3.00 per person
